Nerd talk

Hi.

It's been over a week since my last update.

Shit happened. So I was not realy in the mood to update blogs although I have my drafts ready.

I actually forgot the topic that I intended to write in this blogpost. But I'm gonna begin with something anyway. I just resumed my lower intermediate Japanese class a month ago. I did a last minute revision on my "beginner 2" notes. The next day a couple of classmates mentioned that they didn't revise, and probably forgot what they've learnt. Typical. I must've forgotten a few things too. But then... since I watch anime and listen to Japanese music most of the time, I think I've been revising unconsciously. I haven't reached that level, but it's easy to remember vocabs and a few verbs when you often rape your ears with Japanese audio.
My only problem is remembering the particles, and probably sentence structure. Ask me to speak spontaneously then i'd be like...

Oyeah so here's the supposedly main content. I've been thinking about the 'nerd culture' or 'otaku culture', whatever you call it. When I was a lot younger I thought nerds and geeks are those gariben/bookworms who don't really have a social life. But now, tumblr tells me otherwise. Fangirls and fanboys are like the subsection of the nerd culture. And then I wonder how does this differ with the non-nerds (or what we call 'normalfags' ). But then I define 'normalfag' as someone who doesn't have any particular hobby and follow the norms and mainstream stuff. Of course there are nerds who follow the norms but seems like nerds have something that they can occupy with. And I'm also talking about non-anime geeks like those who likes cars or sports or... oh, hmm does being a shop-a-holic considered a nerd too? Do Beliebers, Little Monsters, Directionals include in the nerd culture too? I know Doctor Who and Star Trek fans are considered "nerds". But how do they differ?

It's like they're so obsessed with their fandoms that they notice that there's nothing wrong with their love life (not that it's a problem to me). Being someone who is interested in various things, I tend not to understand the life of those who are not attached to anything 'fun'. Occassionally I hang out with my non-nerd fans, and we can talk about general things... but somehow it's not as exciting as conversing like below...

  • "hey do you watch ?"
  • "yeah the animation is pretty good but I personally hate the ending"
  • "IKR? Remember the time when did "
  • "Yeah seems like there's a loophole there. Because mentioned that . But why is the ending like that?"
  • And then you two start being all philosophical and whatnot. And you're probably discuss about the songs and moe/bishin characters too.

Okay so that's one of the most sophisticated example of a conversation. Because most of the time I hear derpy shallow fangirling kind of talk (hey I'm guilty of this too)... or just a bunch of otaku-joke that no normalfag can understand (THIS CONSPIRACY THEORY EVENT ACTUALLY HAPPENED BUT THEN SOMEONE SENT A D-MAIL TO THE PAST SO OUR CURRENT WORLD LINE DOESN'T SEE IT HAPPEN!!!!). Bottomline, it's fun to be occupied with silly things; you'll forget your despair and you get ideas for fanfic. you learn life lessons. You may walk alone in a shopping mall, feeling sad or neutral, suddenly you see something that reminds you of your fandom, suddenly you're grinning like an idiot. Hey it makes your day.

Yeah being a nerd is fun :3 and we do have a LIFE!

Next... FALL ANIME.

So I'm gonna watch Magi, Ixion Saga, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito and Code Breaker. So far I've already seen Zetsuen no Tempest and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and the most anticipated...

K!!

I'm most impressed with this anime, since the first episode gave me a lot of eye-candy. It's so intriguing and so mysterious, and you wanna know more. Though it may remind you of Durarara!!No.6, Persona 3 (game) and probably Code Geass and Guilty Crown. The characters look so perfect, it's impossible to choose who you want to fall in love with (who cares. TAKE ALL BISHOUNENS!!!) And the cast is wuahahaha c'mon~ you have Tomokazu Sugita, Tsuda Kenjirou, Ono Daisuke, Takahiro Sakurai, Mamoru Miyano, Fukuyama Jun, Kaji Yuki, Namikawa Daisuke and even Sawashiro Miyuki! I have high hopes for K but I hope it didn't turn out to be like Sacred Seven, it looked amazing at first but then it was mehhh. However, K has beautiful OST to make up for it even if it reaches a downfall. The OST is composed by Mikio Endo... apparently he's a newbie composer and K is his first work. I look forward to this. I miss looking forward and get all excited towards an anime, ever since Tiger & Bunny is over nothing else seem to complete me.

Yeah this shall be the only first impression post in this blog haha.

The Solar Sytem (4chan style)

inb4 "this is old"

But I'm taking Physics so we do learn about outer space... (in nano-details kthxbai) but I'm not taking any astophysics subject cos I'm not really interested in what's out there. But now the theory of multiverse and the dark matter is making me intrigued.

So yeah let's do some revision on our solar system. This is basic science stuff so if you forgot I'm just gonna facepalm.jpg at you.

[WARNING: BEWARE OF FOUL WORDS. Do not try this at home!]

Japanese songs - do you understand..?

All this while I never hide the fact that I like Japanese music and video game soundtracks. In fact, I always find oppurtunities to show off that interest. I'm not ashamed to let people know that my scope is not as limited as theirs, and to imply to them that I'm different. I prefer to listen to my mp3s without my earphones plugged, but since I do respect my roommate then I would. Otherwise, people will easily know that I listen to J-pop and J-rock. Not only that, there are songs from other languages too (good music does not only limit to one or two languages, no?)

[Disclaimer: Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2. For decoration purpose only]

Then one fateful day this question popped up: "Why do you like to listen to songs we don't understand?" [case 1]

And then today I was happily watching a Music Video of Complication by ROOKIEZ is PUNK'D when someone burst my bubble with "Do you even understand what they're saying?" [case 2]

It stings.

I may not show it, nor did I explode. But still, what's with those kind of questions? Condemning? Close minded? Or you just can't value a good music just because it's not English or Malay? As if your Hip hop or R&B hit songs are that amazing. I'm always open to preview songs in foreign language, regardless of how little I understand it. You can always find the lyrics translation, ne? unlike some people, I use the internet wisely (and abuse with wisdom!)

Of course I don't understand Japanese lyrics, in spite of attending Japanese Language lessons. Well, we can't complete all the syllabus for some reason, but I do have some basics. but I do like Japanese songs since I started watching anime (which was like how many centuries ago?), but have never really been much of a fan. It was difficult to find lyrics back then, nor the translation... and I used to be a n00b when it comes to downloading stuff. So I only, FINALLY, got myself some Japanese songs about 4 years ago, when I stole it from a friend.

One of the factors of my inclination to Japanese songs is that I was once tired of listening to lyrics of mainstream music (which was also about 4 years ago). Tired, disgusted, annoyed. This is also one reason why I started lurking for video game OST. Japanese songs saved my ears from that blight. Safe from those soppy romantic songwords and perverted implication of getting laid.

well then i was like "now that i got some nihon no uta, I feel like singing-along!". I started to find lyrics of the songs that I like most, then out of curiousity I wanted to know what it means. I can't remember when is the first time I came across the lyrics translation, but once I found it.... imagine my surprise.

THE LYRICS ARE BEAUTIFUL!
(this was my answer for case 1)

I know the translation may or may not be exact or direct, but once you look at it, you realize that those popular songs that you hear on the radio is not up to par with J-music. Not just in terms instruments used, or rythm or whatever u wanna call it. The lyrics are just so goddamn poetic, and it makes you wonder what it really means. Sorry, I'm the kind of person who likes to evaluate lyrics and how the message is delivered. Malay and English songs lack this writing skill, and as a result the songs sound too straightforward... repetitive and in the end becomes boring (so boring that I want to throw up). Wait... lately I notice Japanese songwords seem to have repetition too... (sometimes even without finding the translation, you can guess what they're saying cos you're already familiar with several Japanese words) but oh well, my artistic side is still in love with the metaphoras. Even if there are English songs that are this good, they don't neccessarily belong to the mainstream. :3 As for Malay.... to be honest, it's Hazami. I kinda prefer his version of Winter Sonata theme than the original Korean, cos the latter has more direct message.

Anyways, I'm not really impressed by this post of mine. I guess I'm just ranting. I'm angry about this 'attitude' towards songs-you-can't-understand. I did my best to control my anger in [case 2] but it caused me to lag a bit before I simply respond with "if you don't understand find the lyrics translation". Easy wor, got internut wor... I wanted to say more but I didn't want to show that it really affected my feelings. Before this, the same person kindly asked me to remove them Japanese songs from my WMP cos she can't understand it (eh it's not like I understood either... but if you ask me what do i not understand is WHY DO YOU LIEK J BIEBER???). If i were to judge music, it's not the language but the story behind it, the melody, the genre (and sometimes the singer).

Ah... One of these days I'll just explain it properly.

So I wonder, (if there's anyone out there who read this) have you ever got this kind of comment before?

Music Impressions Meme

I'm supposed to work on my other blog entries.
... No i'm supposed to study Nuclear Physics.

Then I might wanna do review on tomorrow's Video Games Live (ZOMG KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! GSAUJDGVJSFVBJHFVBJHWB!!!!!!!!!!!!). Ahem, well I'm keeping my cool in front of people. *cool face on*

But since I can do this subtly while studying, I'll just post this one up. Oyeah, I stole it from another blog.

Rules - You can learn a lot about someone from the music they listen to. Here's the game: hit shuffle on your music player, and write down the first 25 songs that come up. No cheating or skipping songs.

What does the 25 out of 2600++ songs tell you about myself? I guess not everything, but from the list here I don't listen to mainstream much.

p/s: I thought winning a ticket is priceless, but reuniting with an ex-primary schoolmate from participating in the contest is........................ EPIC!

Clumsy Ninja is clumsy #1: The Trousers

[safety pins = my life saver. Why? read below :3]

I have a habit of hiding my embarrassing and clumsy moments from people. Even if I seriously needed help, I try my best to depend on my creativity than to let others know because I fear getting laughed at. I also wish not to make others worry or become a burden to them. I will only tell about the silly story after I settled the problem myself... if I could.

Okay, here's one that happened about 3-4 years ago. I don't think anyone knows of this, but for those who happen to come across this post... consider yourself lucky because I'm revealing an embarrassing secret I've kept for a long time.

I was in my A-levels college and we had to go for a camp. Seeing how small other people's bags are, I decided to pack my luggage as small as possible. Somehow it's always hard for me to carry a small bag, and I wonder how many things they packed for 3 day camp. Especially the girls... what about facial wash? Talcum? Sanitary pads? Panties? Really... I wonder, still. So, by trying hard to pack little things as possible to make my bag look as small as theirs, my clothes are rather limited. Especially... the PANTS.

Okay, you might see it coming. But allow me to continue. Somehow there's this old pair of trousers that used to belonged to mom, I brought it along because somehow I ran out of track bottoms. Clothes in my hostel room cupboard are limited as well. It's not tight, fitting but not stretchable... I had hope it can last till the cultural night is over because I know I'm not thin enough for the trousers. Thankfully, I'm not part of the performance; I'm just the stage designer.. which did not need a stage design at all LOL. So i did nothing. Okay, then the event starts... I think it was during some sort of performance when I flopped down on the floor and heard something like 'PRAKK'. I was already on the floor when I notice a huge hole formed from the groin of the trousers. Looking around, thank God everyone is focusing their eyes on the stage, and it was noisy so the sound of the torn fabric is inaudible.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Goddammit I felt like a comic relief anime character. and I remember I was putting on a fake smile and laughter while watching the show, and had a worried look when no one's looking. I'm glad the trousers were black and my t-shirt is long enough to cover half my thighs. I dunno if I should just get the hell outta there back to the dormitory but I don't want anyone to notice... and I can't think of any reasonable excuses to flee. I was too embarrassed to tell my classmates, and I didn't want to ruin their fun. Then I tried to think of something I might have brought along with me.

Sewing kit? Nada.
Safety pin? Well well whaddya know? I had a few in my wallet. Don't ask me why I keep them in there 8D

I used them to hold the pieces of fabric together.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

That's the best option I had, even when the pins aren't firm enough.

And now I still carry safety pins everywhere I go.

Side note: Safety pins are also my personal symbol of romance lol. The day before an important event I had bought meself a bunch of safety pins and I brought it to the event venue. Coincidently, the person I like(d?) asked me if I have any because he wanted to use it! So I gave him some and was like "wahhh even if it's just safety pins, I'm so glad that I can help him!" [complete with the shoujo manga mood and all *blush*]. Consequently I just let him keep 'em because I still have loads of them. Ah, btw it's an old story so the feelings faded away already :3
#2 comings soon...

2009 Epic End

I never thought my 31/12/2009 would have an epic moment, unlike the past end of year events where the day just pass by just like that.

I used to enjoy watching those bloody concerts on TV, with KLCC as background and "Final Countdown" as the last music blared out loud before the old year ends, and the new year borns. Glad that they don't have it this.. I mean, last year. lol. But I grew bored of those stupid concert. Every year is the same thing. Has nothing to do with new year stuff. It's getting old. Malaysia needs something fresh and new (same goes for National Day events).

[gambar untuk hiasan semata2. Shadow of Collosus]

Anyway... the memorable thing about the last day of 2009 is a silly adventure my friend and I been through. This is a true story of two young scholars in an epic quest for hazardous knowledge. After waking up and drinking my tasteless yet nutritious lunch, my coursemate (Norra) called me, asking for my company to find a legendary book.

Riiiiggghhhttt...

She said there are three of the books available in Pusat Asasi Sains UM (PASUM) stacks according to the library database, while those in the main library are no longer in the shelves. So we got our stuff ready, with me being a little late because she called me from outside my room earlier than I thought. SORRY! I'm usually punctual but I was reading both manga and Bohr's model, and I had to tidy up some things. Then we're off.

We decided to walk since the PASUM area is like... 4 buildings away from our college. If we had taken the bus, it'd waste our time waiting and had make one round around the lake. I had no idea where the PASUM library is, but from the surface I understood that PASUM layout is goddamn complicated, so I let her lead the way. She used to take her pre-U course here. However, after 2-3 years of not wandering about the compound, she has a vague memory of the location... but she knew we had to climb a hill to reach the destination.

Yes, the hill climb is quite an exercise. And it somewhat reminds me of traversing through a video game stage with the 'ancient' architecture and all. We walked by silent labroratories that looked like they're abandoned (although I know the fact that this place is still running, just that maybe the pre-U students are on a break..?). And further up was a construction site, which looked like they're building a shopping complex within the campus area. Really, it's big and like four-storey high. What worries me the most is that it's located on the hill slope, and we had several cases of landslide already. I won't be surprise if this construction crumble into pieces because of careless humans. I pray they won't go shaving the preserved forest in the middle of the campus or the monkeys will RAGE.

"There's no other way to reach the library," said Norra. Referring to the construction site, "It's supposed to be here..." [not the exact dialog but she said something like this]

"Maybe they've demolished the library to build this 'shopping complex'," I said. Being highly imaginative, I saw the construction site as 'ruins of ye olde library' instead LOL. "Let's ask the folks here..."

[gambar untuk hiasan semata2.]

First I suggested the lecturers since the lecturer's block is near, but then better ask someone nearer. We headed for the computer lab's staff room. I almost doubt no one was there because the area looks deserted. Imagine a Silent Hill ghost popping out of nowhere, despite of the blazing sunlight.

"The library....." the staff began answering our question, "....is no more..."[okay i exaggerated mood for the bad news]

Oh despair!

"Never mind..." said Norra.

But being the devoted believer of Kamina-ism (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann), I wasn't going to give up! Especially when I had agreed to tag along to search for this book, and it'd be a dishonour to drop our quest. I said, "I beg your pardon, sir! We were looking for a book and we discovered that it is kept in PASUM library! If that library is no more, then I am absolutely certain that the book(s) is/are relocated somewhere else! So, answer me kind sir; do you happen to know where it is?" [as if I really said it like this! XD]

Logically speaking, the books can't just vanish with the building =_=

"Oh, then you have to consult the office..." he said.

After thanking him, we climbed down the mossy stairs and through the lousy excuse of a Japanese-esque structure. Then we entered the next site; I can only laugh at the drastic change of theme. You know, UM has a very inconsistent building designs that's equivalent garbage in my eyes. There's a new so called high-classed toilet in my faculty that is totally unsynchronized with the faculty's old buildings. Shamefully, the flush is broken about a month after it's completed LOL.

Anyways, we asked the lady behind the counter of the PASUM office. I almost couldn't hear her voice because she's too softspoken.

"The library....." said the lady, "....is no more..." [well, the way she said it was more sombre]

I repeated the same thing about the book can be found here, and insisted about the books' location. I expected that they might have a temporary library around there. But she asked us to leave our number (only Norra gave) because she would give it to the person in charge of the library books and also suggested that we consult the folks in the main library.

"So what should we do now?" Norra asked me as we walked through the corridor that looked liked an alleyway in spite of facing the main one way road (issit called Lingkungan Ilmu?). "Should we wait for this person to call?"

"I kinda have doubts that this person to call us, we could've asked for her/his number too so we could inquire him/her," I replied. "But let's just go check out the main library."

Then we had to walk again. It's a good thing that I really do like walking even if I worry that I'd stink due to sweating. Walking at the pavements, opposing the traffic, and our vision was partially clouded by gray vehicle farts (I ran out of pretty metaphors). We passed the epic waterfall and the huge UM logo, where we last see the number '2009' on it. I thought of taking a picture there, but a cluster of students were hanging around with that very motive so I passed. So carried on walking and stepping on unnaturally straight zebra stripes plastered on the road.

Straight to the point now, the staff at the counter confirmed that the PASUM books are relocated there. SEE! I knew those binded pages full of vast knowledge would have refuged somewhere! Next, we went to the floor where the books were supposedly situated. The odd looking shelves were in the middle of the main library's standard shelves as though they're surrounded. Norra recited the book's code, and as we had anticipated, the three books of Introductory Nuclear Physics by Kenneth Krane stood together like valiant sentries awaited us!

REJOICE! Victory dance! [Nay, we did nothing more than expressing our gratitude to God that we finally found it]

But in the end, we took just one of them intending to make photocopies of them lol.

So ends the quest, and that's how my 2009 ended.

Moral of the story: ya gotta be persistent to get what ya want. and for knowledge's sake, we may have to sacrifice luxury (of transporation aka air conditioned bus), travel for miles to reach our objective (like Xuanzang in Journey to the West). InsyaAllah, may we get an A for our worthy efforts =]

bak kata norra... "kalo tak dapat A tak tahu la..."

p/s: dialog sume tak semestinya sama dengan keadaan sebenar sebab ingatan aku berkenaan kejadian ini samar2. Dialog juga diubah untuk menimbulkan suasana cerita Lord of the Rings HWAHAHA

End note: HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! WELCOME 2010! i suck at sappy motivational speech so just go your merry way~

The Mystery of Soggy Veggie Feeling

Photobucket

[random pic is related.... somehow....]

Yesterday I had this feeling... i've got a feeling... a feeling deep inside. Oh yeahh...
lulz Beatles. This is all Beck's fault DX
Anyways... that evening I feel like a soggy vegetable leaf taken out from a soup. And my tormented intestine yearns to produce more shit soup.

I actually forgot that I only had 3 hours sleep the night before, and I couldn't resume sleeping after Subuh prayers after greeting my cat 'good morning'. Lately I've been staying up at night like traditional vampires and sleep at dawn. I wake up around 10 am -12 noon. I chose to do this because I don't like oversleeping, for no matter what time I sleep, I will always wake up around that time. Let's say I sleep at 1 am, and wake up at 10, I sleep for 9 hours. I don't like it! The ideal sleeping time is 6-7 hours. So assuming that I sleep at 7 then wake up at 12.... wait... I got only 5 hours. Lack of sleep is unhealthy too. Oh geez I just realized it while writing it. Never mind, sometimes I sleep for about an hour in the evening. So that makes 6! But actually not sleeping at night isn't a proper lifestyle either... but I'd rather not exceed my sleeping time to more than 7 hours!

Okay back to the story.... the moment I feel so worn out I just remembered that I needed sleep. So I slept for about 2 hours and got some energy back.

Another thing that contributed to my stir-fried kangkung-ish feeling is my stomach ache... which has been going on for a few days. I had no idea why... I considered the way I eat. I have early breakfast if I manage to stay up until Subuh. Eating at night time isn't good, because at night the metabolism is slower so the rate of getting fat is higher than eating during the day. My biohealth buddy confirmed this. But my routine of eating at this time of the morning contributes to my abnormal digestion. Or maybe drinking this particular thing and munching some random things drove my organs insane??

I eat banana. It's not helping so far.

Then I noticed something... I wasn't sure if it's true so I risked to experiment it. And I probably can confirm it. Good detective work (yeah right)!!

I make cherry-berry (Malaysian slang for diarrhea) after eating a cake. That particular cake. In fact it all started after I ate it. It's not even as indulging as I expected it to be, so contradicting to the name. It has too much layers of cream, so much more than the real cake. The name of the cake is.... Chocolate Indulgence. That's right. From Secret Recipe.

I don't remember it tasting like that... nor do I remember if I had tasted it before. Everyone seems to like chocolate and favours this one, but it disappointed me. Not only that it tasted like sweet nothing (not even intesne chocolaty flavour), it's also hurting my colon. Even when I consume it with banana... geez, just because we bought it cheap on SR's 12 anniversary doesn't mean you have to give us a cheap cake. But nothing happens to my other family members. okay, no more Secret Recipe Chocolate Indulgence for me. I'm gonna avoid it or else I'll feel so freakin' uneasy when my stomach aches in a weird way... and it hurts when you can't crap normally. From now on.... I will only look forward to tasting Trans-fat blueberry cake and buying another piece of hi-fibre cheesecake.

It looks like I have manry tongue. I don't like anything too sweet, just moderately sweet is fine. I don't like chocolate, except for dark chocolate (and white) because it doesn't give me a headache. The bitterness is addicting too. Thanks to grandma for introducing me to such an obscure candy.

...............Stupid cake!! But I don't think it's food poisoning cos I'm not vomiting at all. I just don't feel so good....

Red is my Secret Crush

Red is not my favourite colour. It once was, but then red is an overrated favourite colour so I switched to purple instead. I have my own view on what purple means to me, and I do agree what the colour generally symbolizes. But my primary favourite colour would be none other than black.

But when I look back, and analyze my list of favourite characters... a lot of them, are associated with red! It makes me wonder why. Maybe deep down I like red more than I thought I would?

Okay, allow me to list down chronologically on the red themed characters I fell for.

1. Sanosuke Sagara
Photobucket

AKA the one who started it all!

Frankly speaking, he's the first character I ever fell head over heels for. I was about 10 years old back then when Rurouni Kenshin (Introduced as Samurai X) was aired in AXN. At first my favourite character was the protagonist himself, but one night I had this weird dream and Sanosuke made a cameo in it *swt*. When I woke up I found myself fallen in love with Sano so much more than Kenshin. So I squealed every time I see him on TV. I squeal when he first appear in the manga too when I bought it. Although I barely think about him now, I still find myself delighted to see him when I reread the manga. (Ok, I've yet to see the OVA!)

Although his primary colour isn't red, but look at his bandana :3

2. Vincent Valentine
Photobucket
Several years after that, I was introduce to video games. Then final fantasy franchise. but my first FF was the 9th, but I was gaming the 7th and 8th at the same time. with 8th being the first to be finished (due to cheat codes lol). Because of cheat codes, and because I was still a n00b in RPG games - I was careless about character abilities, statuses (ATK? DEF? STR? INT? AGI? whut??) and I didn't care about sidequests. All I did was to go with the flow. So I ended Final Fantasy 7 with pretty much lvl 50 characters but one thing sparked my curiousity before I went to the final battle. Somehow I had this long ranged weapon in my items list. It's a gun, so I thought Barret could equip it but nay. It was not for him. That's when I thought I might've missed one character (and if it was not for my friend, I wouldn't know Yuffie's existence!). Curse this game for making a character only available if you do sidequests!

So I make good use of the internut to find list of FF7 characters. I saw a name that I had never seen before. I clicked to see his profile and what did I get?

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT YO!

He was so mysterious, and then I actually decided to replay the game for his sake, and I'm happy that his attitude is up to my expectations. But unlike some people, I had never believed that he's a vampire although he seemed like one. Shelke can go to hell, and I wish he can be happy with Lucrecia ;m;

3. Axel, The Flurry of Dancing Flames
Photobucket
I never really had a favourite character in Kingdom Hearts. I tried to play, but apparently the Disney stuff was a bit too childish for my liking. Until now I think the Square-Enix partition is more dominant than Disney's, which apparently only provide the worlds and side/guest characters. However it was interesting to see cartoony characters together with manga-ish characters. Then comes Kingdom Hearts II, I only watched my sister play (she was the one who complete both games) from the main story to sidequests. It's fun to watch her play because she never gives up easily when she loses even if it means a 100 tries. Unlike me, I'll stop playing forever if I can't find the easiest way to defeat a boss XD. But I was the one who provided strategies to her so that she can use it lol.

So anyways, there was this scene were an extremely slim hooded character made his first appearence. He had a manly voice, my sis and I was ogling at his body shape. Really, he IS SLENDER (every Organization XIII members have their own body shape though). Then he uncovered his hood, revealing crimson hair and a pair of emerald eyes. The both of us squealed at the bishonen (in fact, we did a lot of squealing in KHII everytime a Square-Enix bishie appears). His favourite quote, "Got it memorized" is just too sexy. Although it's not a literal translation from the original japanese dialog, Quinton Flynn (the English voice actor) made it sound damn good. 8D And then, he seemed kinda gay towards Roxas, so ask me why I do love him again? XD

4. Mitsuru Kirijo
Photobucket
I can't remember why I liked her. But I know when it comes to female characters, I favour the stoic type. She doesn't have to be a tomboy. She could be ladylike, but not a damsel in distress (i hate those types) or too girly. Before I played Persona 3, I've met Paine of FFX-2 and Gascogne of Vandread. But Mitsuru caught my eye most probably because of her dark red hair. I wanted to 'date' her, but it was a bit too late because my main character's intelligence level wasn't high enough until 3/4 of the game. Yeah, too bad she's only into smart boys. But I guess I understand. She's like the top student of Gekkokan Private School and the president of the Student Council, it's natural that she prefers not to be caught dead with a dummy. When handling death of a loved one, she doesn't go emo like Yukari (another character). It's a big turn off when she sides with that b1tch once. And in spite of being intelligent, her behaviour as a party member is annoying cos she often cast useless spells on the Shadows (MARIN KARIN).

I could date her in my next gameplay, but I didn't like P3 as much as P4 so I don't bother replaying.

5. Kallen Stadtfeld/Kouzuki
Photobucket
Among the rebel elevens, as the racist Brittanians call the Japanese in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, she stands out the most because of her crimson hair. Or issit a dark shade of pink?? Oh well. That's due to her mixed heritage, I assume. While other people worship the so-called angelic C.C., I lavish my admiration towards Kallen. She's just a human like many others (with feelings and all), but she's an ace knightmare frame pilot. I love Gurren Mk-II's radiation surge. C.C. may be superhuman and cool/kuudere, but all she did is to bless Lelouch with Geass and sit on her big a$$ eating pizza. No offense, I do not hate C.C., but I personally think Kallen is a better character. Besides, I never really liked non-human-like beings as a heroine to pair up with a human hero (I dislike Belldandy of Ah! Megami-sama, I dislike the alien teacher from Onegai Sensei, I dislike Chii from Chobits, I dislike it when Shirou of Fate/Stay Night falls for Saber). Yeah, C.C. may be 'better' and Kallen may be stupid... but remember, C.C. had lived longer and experienced a lot, that's why she's wiser. Kallen is 'stupid' cos she's still young, and blinded by devotion, but she's smart enough reject Lulu's offer to sleep with him although she admires him (more like his alter-ego, Zero) a lot.

I love her devotion towards Zero, I love how protective she is to her master. I find it fascinating to see a strong girl protecting a man (but the man should not be a total wimp either). I kinda like her to be paired up with Zero, instead of Lulu himself. Ah, please don't be surprised that I have favourite hetero pairings too okay. and then there's this gender blender version of CG characters; ironically, I like the original female Kallen better than the bishonen version XD. She has nice boobs btw lol. Yeah I'm gay for her~

6. Erza Scarlet
Photobucket
My current love! As of now, I'm watching Fairy Tail anime, and just resumed reading the manga. I like Erza because she's KAKKOI - the cool big sis! She reminds me of Mitsuru, but she's much scarier. Erza is one of the class S mage of the mage guild called Fairy Tail, and most of the time the story didn't lie about her status (Fairy Tail never lies about the good guys' abilities, it does not need to surprise the readers that a badass foe can beat a holy mage etc. Unless he runs out of energy). She's not only a powerful magic knight, but also excellent in tactics where she willingly take risks to find an enemy's weakness. It didn't take 5 chapters for her to finish off a strong enemy. In fact, she can easily PWN'd an evil mage who was said to be the most powerful among the bad guy's team. No need to make massive earthquakes like those so un-ninja-like ninjas to eliminate a villain. All she needs is a couple of henshin!! into different kind of armours to suit the battlefield (ok, the Sailormoon effect in the anime is a turn off for a shonen theme).

Erza will butthead you if you don't answer her immediately, and Erza will manhug you with a thunk of her breast plate if she's proud of you. But like Mitsuru, she ain't a tomboy. She's not girly, but she's feminine, just that sometimes she can't control her strength. Strong yet feminine female characters FTW! I wish I could be like them but... meh... lulz. Anyways, Erza is a Kuudere. She's strong and cool outside, but she's tender inside. She can cry, but not too often. And when she does, she cries alone. Because of her insecurity, she literally wears an armour all the time to protect herself.

Other minor red-themed crushes~

1. Freya Crescent of Final Fantasy IX - Prior to Mitsuru, she's the first stoic video game female I salute. She remains strong in spite of 'losing' her beloved right to the very end.

2. Grelle Sutcliffe of Kuroshitsuji - He's supposed to be in the main list, but he did not re-appear in the manga as he often did in the anime (I regard his second/third appearence in the anime adaptation as 'not really him' because I only believe in how the original author decide to portray him). Grelle is a pansexual, and reaches orgasms every time he sees red LOL. I don't care if he's not as 'perfect' as the demon butler [perfect supernatural beings turn me off, honestly], I just love him cos he seems rather... gay XP.

3. Murtagh of The Inheritence Cycle - The cool big bro stereotype... quite emo too. I can't remember how Murtagh is described in the first book (Eragon), but I can't help but to imagine him clad in red. In the movie adaptation, he does wear red. And then, in the second book... whaddya know? He rides a red dragon!

4. Mai Shiranui of King of Fighters/Fatal Fury - Actually, I don't even like her. Her clothes are too revealing... for a ninja. It's just that I often pick her in my team in the game because I'm good at using her skills. I like fast and agile characters FYI.

5. Vanessa of King of Fighters - She fights in short sleeveless shirt with a necktie, and a dark green pair of trousers with suspenders... and more importantly, RED HAIR. She used to be a normal housewife, until her husbands death, which turned her into a beautiful boxer and joined the tournament to avenge him. However, she does not seem to show her suffering as she casually greets her opponents with her sex appeal.

***

So here ends my pointless post. I wasted plenty of minutes writing this lol.

If there are other red-themed well known characters out there, it's not in my list because I'm not genuinely attracted to them. It's just a coincidence that most of my favourite characters are associated with red X3. If there are others that you know (that I might have overlooked) please mention his/her name :3

[on a side-note, the author of this blog was clad in red when this article is written]

Black Zodiac Analysis

Well, I gotta admit it's fun playing the applications in facebook. Some are sh1tty. Some lulz. Some are scarily accurate.

So here's my Black Zodiac analysis; Negative description of a Scorpio;
(I split the sentences so I can leave a comment next to it.

Horrors with Scorpio in Black Zodiac!

[note: pic above is Esper Cuchulain from Final Fantasy XII. The Zodiac representation is Scorpio and its attribute is poison. Warning: your HP recedes when fighting this Esper. Make sure you have a lotta HP and have Larsa tagging along for unlimited hi-potions 8D Pic chosen to relate with 'Black Zodiac' :3]

          • There is little that could be added to your bad reputation. However, we believe it interesting to twist the knife still deeper. (bad rep... and i'm that deep eyh)

          • You are a sly, inquisitive and aggressive person. (triple slash inflicted)

          • Strangely enough, you remind of scorpions (no pun intended!), but also of sewer rats, perverse, petty and frightening. (RATS??)

          • You revel in other people´s sufferings, (oh sadism. true enuff) so please don´t purport that it is because you want to help them transcend their ordeals and know themselves better (but that's not a lie! it's how i teach lessons!), because we know very well that your evil and cunning nature enjoys attracting attention and stirring up ill-feeling. (oh u...)

          • You are believed to have an intense sexual energy. (this i do not know, but in terms of thinking BL...............)

          • However, it has more to do with a regrettable tendency to release your impulses, since you are unable to control them. (yea i always end up feeling guilty for not watching my words)

          • You also cultivate a high opinion of yourself, and to make yourself interesting, you play the mysterious and rebellious personage. (ufuuu yea i do that. even my roommate says that i'm a mystery)

          • Nevertheless, it is obvious that you feel unloved, which drives you almost paranoid. (t-t-that's not true! who the f*ck cares about that??)

          • You see evil everywhere, and to protect yourself against it, like a spider setting its cobwebs, you keep on manipulating everyone in your entourage (from my POV, there's always something negative. But i don't think i manipulate people...)

          • you should admit that it is awfully difficult for you afterwards to get out of the mess you have created. (indeed....)

Make virtual/imaginary calculation there's approximately 85% accuracy in this analysis.

5 things I hate about Lowyat

I haven't updated my blog cos I was sulking about freedom of speech at one's blog and it gave me time to rethink what I should really blog about.

But today I just feel like writing what I experience today... it may seem a diary or something but it should be something general... erm.. and for the lulz.

Okay anyways... I don't remember when's the last time I went to Lowyat, and somehow it feels like it's the first time I went there lol. Maybe it's the crowd that obscured the whole place. Ok let me list down what makes me dislike it (i don't hate it THAT much fyi)

          1. The crowd. Oh well, I generally hate crowds. But today was kinda tolerable, but there are certain times when people from the opposite direction fancy bumping into you. I think shopping complexes should have lanes too OTL

          2. The layout/structure or whatever you call it. Although it's a small place, but it looks like you can get lost...? Not that I have no sense of direction... but looking for the shop you want to go to would be troublesome. And the way it's mashed up like that makes you have a blind spot. I actually missed out the Okonomiyaki and Tepanyaki restaurants because of that, but those two were not too far from our selected restaurant! WHY DIDn'T WE SEE THEM EARLIER??

          3. I can't find the surau. That is, if there is one there. Cos I check at the touchscreen directory thingy and it didn't indicate any surau. I dunno if they missed out that particular facility. There's no sign of it either. Even the funky Sungei Wang has it...

          4. Okay this place has a bunch of IT stuff and gadgets whatsoever. KL summore. My dad turned on his laptop and tried to activate Maxis broadband. No signal. lolwhut?

          5. Here's the funniest part. The toilet.
          Underground floor, my dad wants to go into the toilet but there's a "cleaning in progress" sign at the door. So the lady who was in charge of the erm... charge asked him to pay 50sen first, and proceed to the toilet at the upper floor - he just have to show her signature she signed on a certain ticket. So my mom and I waited at the underground floor while he go do his business upstairs. It was a long wait... but when he returned this is what he told us;

He showed the ticket to the person in charge (of the toilet)
PIC: You can't come in here.
otou-san: That person from downstairs said I have to use this one *ignores and goes inside to do his business*
          After he exited the toilet...
          PIC: Pay RM1!
          Otou-san: I already paid downstairs!
PIC: Why don't you go downstairs?
          Otou-san: There's cleaning in progress!
PIC: but this ticket is not for this toilet!
Otou-san: I dunno. You go deal with that person (downstairs) yourself... *walks away*
          PIC: HOI YOU HAVEN'T PAID!

          GO BADA$$ DADDEH! \0/
I'm glad he didn't call for the security guard to capture my dad or anything.
Then we discovered that only in ground floor we must pay RM1 while the rest is 50 sen. Lolwhut? Somehow paying for toilet use seems old fashion to me cos I'm used to Midvalley Megamalls toilets. I once forgot to pay at the KLcentral LRT toilet LOL. Paid after using it lol.

          Neglected OCs Month!

          COPYPASTA from my deviantArt.

Aka Under-appreciated Original Characters month, announced by Arai-Hime!
          More info in her journal.

So basically November is unofficially the month where we rummage our OC store for the dusty ones or the ones buried under a pile of new ideas back to the scene. Meaning, the OC we have long abandoned from drawing, writing or playing... something you created years ago, but have forgotten about them. Now it's the chance for them to make a comeback :3

I'm gonna join the fun. Hope you guys do the same too, especially if you wanna kill the boredom.

          To add up to the fun, try this "Neglected OCs Meme";
          1. Artist version
          2. Writer's version

I actually went looking back at the old stuff in my gallery lol. I'm picking a few to redraw. And I took a look at my old sketchbook to find OCs I neglected. My poor babies.
          I just started with one.

I might post up some of my old OCs here, along with the meme. I'm just spreading the word. Come and join the fun ^w^

          Badmouthing People in Blogs

          I'm here to justify something;
I don't badmouth people in my blog, but I speak the truth about them in my point of view. If one feels offended by it, then what I rant is true. Then it isn't my problem, right?

Yeah, I'm ego. So sue me.

You may ask what's the difference. But it's something only I can comprehend.

I don't care if someone wants to diss me in his blog. The case of the previous entry is not my first time. I've seen better negative analysis about me. Yes, I do feel a little hurt, but that gives me the chance to see myself in another person's POV. I can somehow accept it. But the 'former troll' was saying things that I am already aware of, and did that just because I expressed my honest opinion. And I remember that I did not totally oppose him, because I did agree with him in certain points. When I think about it again, it is kind of funny. But the thing that made me a little angry is the word 'homophobic', because I certainly am not. :3

Plus, that guy has been an annoying troll for a long time. He deserved a bit of trolling too.

What do I learn from this?

          Nothing.

It doesn't effect me. I still don't quite get it. Maybe it's because I'm able to accept the truth in spite of being angry. I've seen someone talking badly behind my back, and yea it did make my heart race, but what I've already expected what the person thinks of me. And it's not entirely false.

It won't stop me from 'dissing' (as you call it) other people.

However, I won't do it much here. I have a darkblog. Where no one sees.

          Mission: TROLLing

          I R TROLLZ!

[due to my respect towards my friends and enemies, I won't mention names here]

I dunno how to start. But it was all thanks to 'someone' and 'a stranger'. A link was given to me via chatbox and it was instantly lead to 40 worst video games post, by a blogger which I am familiar with.

He's a troll. And most of us who knows who this guy is cannot distinguish between his serious posts or his jokes. And the list of his 40 worst video games are none-other than his fantasies of non-existant and existing video games. Which is supposed to be a joke, but he wrote it in a sarcastic way. Which emits a lot of 'personal attack' aura.

I was asked to view number 26. So I went straight to number 26, and found a pic of my old avatar and my profile in a particular forum. The game is called "Seek and annoy VulpineNinja". Description is fat (ok i am), ugly (ok so what if im ugly?), homophobic (Am i?), [insert you-know-what] fangirl. It's fun and entertaining blababla. So I got kinda pissed to see that.

But i cooled off when I saw the date was soooo last year. But I'm a lil angry because I didn't know that he dissed me like I've been literally molesting him for ages. And I'm also a lil angry that he took it so personally when the only thing I did was to justify something about why girls like the subject that I really like. I don't recall offending, threatening or quarreling with him.

Actually I wanted to ignore. But I feel like I need a bit of fun. A taste of his own medicine, maybe. Besides, I pretend that I am my past self who just happen to read that blogpost right after he publish it, and what my reaction would be like.

I logged in to my account, and started to bomb him. I became a part time troll.

The url is invalid already, and I did not take any screenshot, so I'm just gonna write what I'm able to remember...
          1) I attacked his 40 worst video games first, telling him that i'm honoured that he acknowledged me in league with the famous anime/video games. I told him he should have told me earlier about it. Of course this is purely sarcasm.

          2) I noticed that most of his blog posts MUST consist the subject I'm obsessed with, which he really abhors. Well, frankly speaking, I don't mind if people dislike/hate it. But it IS annoying when I see people making a deal out of it 24/7. So I comment something like that he's obsessed with the subject...

          3) On another post regarding that... I wrote *yawn* and told him his post is boring because it's the same subject over again.

          4) there was one post dedicated to his favourite pairing (male and female of course). But I've always hated the artwork for making both men and women looking like girls in spite of the shonen genre, so I said "OMG LESBIANS!". and added "oh wait, he's a guy.. i tot he's a girl.."

          5) On his latest post, he wrote on how much he hated straight girls... then in the new paragraph he had to 'talk' about the fangirls of that subject again. It was my last ammo, so I said something like... "awww you poor thing. u just wanna get laid by straight girls but u fail to even get one". And ended it with "ok i had fun bombing you. kthxbai".

then i block him cos i dont bother knowing what he's gonna respond.
I'm aware that he'd track me, so I'm kind of prepared for the worst.
therefore... He found me in dA...

          Photobucket

          analysis:
          1. I never know what deevon did to him. either i wasn't there or I was just not aware of it. I retired some time last year.

          2. I just felt like writing that lawl.

          3. like i said, i'm aware that tracking is possible. I didn't freak out. oh halloween prank? i never knew it existed.

          4. yea i said it lawl. Just being arrogant.

Some time that night I was chatting with my cosplayer friend who was complaining about someone then I told her about what was going on.

Then since I blocked the 'former troll' in my dA, cos again I just don't bother knowing his response... he PM-ed me with his old account saying... but I'm too lazy to reply. But if he found this post, my response would be just like the following...

"So you call that entertainment, narcissist."
          - wrong. i'm a sadist. D:

"Consider this a truce and I try to make peace here. You are bullying me just what those clowns did before. You already knew that. Because I already left then I'm a subject of your joke. Of course I am the most unpopular member here and I did what all losers do best, leave and go somewhere else. "
          - okeh who are the clowns i wonder. I never knew that. But he does deserve some dissing from me as well.

"The blog entry was written last year, when I still active at this place and now its your fault for not discovering it earlier. Today I no longer remember you anymore until you came there."
          - i don't think anyone is at fault. The question is what made him what made he wrote that post anyway

"One more thing, bullying is not cool. I already bullied before and I don't want it to happen again. Tulang is my older account, don't trust me and you check my join date. It never lie."
          - Yeah, bullying ain't cool. I know. About time he realized that *rolls eyes*. I'm not a bully. But he deserve it. It's hard to explain why i'm just avenging my past self. I'm a sadist this year. don't ask why I evolved into one. And I know tulang is his other account long2 ago.

Then I found out that my cosplayer friend actually posted the url in a certain community network website and got the other people I know angered. Thanks though, but you didn't have to spread it since it's dated March 2008 X). Next time I know that the url to the former troll's account is invalid. I assumed he changed his name, but someone said all his stuff is blank. I dunno if he deleted it or got banned. Oh well, who cares.

The thing I'm most unsatisfied with is he didn't even bother apologizing. trying to sound like a victim, but doesn't seem guilty at all (by calling them 'clowns') and blaming me for not discovering that entry earlier. And 'truce' doesn't show apology because it means temporary agreement between two opposing parties.

So yea that's the gist of it. Nothing epic. But it was quite fun to troll once in a while.

So sorry to make you guys curious about what happened XD. It's entertaining to see you guys got caught up in the suspense~

          McDonald's Food - The Truth

Okay maybe a wee bit of video to share with you all...

The more the fungi and the quicker it spreads, the better the food.
But the thin potato strips aren't breaking down at all. Imagine how it's like when it's crushed in our stomachs.

Fries are tasty, but looking at this video makes me want to avoid McDs. Burgers are fine, but SUPERSAVERS keep telling ya to buy fries as well. Maybe I'll just stick to apple pies or porridge the next time I visit.

          Blog less, Study more

Er... Mom just found out that I blog. And knows my blog.

          Darn.

She tells me not to blog too much, unless it's the holidays.
          Good point.

The reason I haven't been updating is not only because of that warning, but there was one time I wrote a very long review on an anime, saved it, but somehow I accidentally deleted the whole post I've been typing for about an hour, and blogspot immediately autosaved the blank box!!
I couldn't retrieve the review!! So I kind of sulked, and turned away from blogspot no matter how much i feel like writing.

I used to think that Autosave is a hero, now I know it has its disadvantages too!

          How do you disable autosave??

          ***

Okay final exams is near. Wish me not luck, but pray I do well.
But my writing muse is constantly hopping in my head. SEAL IT NOW!!

Kenapa tak pergi jamuan hari raya?

Malam ni ada jamuan hari raya dekat Dewan Makan kolej.
          Mula2 rasa macam nak pergi.
Tetiba rasa macam malas lak. aku start rasa malas bila dapat mesej aku kena ambil sijil AJK cybercafe kolej (sem lepas). Waduih... ingat kena amik dari orang je. Rupanya kena naik pentas. KENA NAIK PENTAS, for heaven's sake. In my tertiary baju raya yang warna merah mencapub tu.

Lepas tu aku fikir alasan lain lak supaya tidak pergi. Like...
          1. aku takde member. D:
Nak dok dengan sape? Dah aku ni sah2 suka ke sini kemari sorang2. Aku naik dok situ sorang2, bosan, takde member nak gelak dan kutuk orang... macam orang bodo. Roommate bertugas. sorang lagi dengan geng dia. Kesian aku, xde geng. lol xyah simpati pon xpe. buang masa je.

          2. Aku malas nak dengar ucapan yang panjang berjela2. Lepas satu jam baru leh makan. Bukan ada persembahan yang best pon. Nasyid je. Ala, bukan aku minat sgt tgk persembahan pon (tapi Feseni best).

          3. Aku malas nak 'beratur' amik makanan. walaupun sedang membayangkan makanan yang sedap belaka. Tapi aku tengah initiate plan diet aku. aku rela berkorban. Ahaha. Tapi pesan gak rumate suh bawak balik makanan kalo ada lebih.

          4. Aku segan naik pentas amik sijil. Paranoid. Aku tak suka mencapub... tak suka orang tengok aku. Walaupun aku tau orang tak peduli sangat nak tengok sape amik sijil, tapi aku still paranoid. Kalo aku pakai baju raya yang hitam tu aku rasa 'safe' lagi... (anything other than black makes me feel insecure) tapi aku tak bawak pulak. Lupa.. Tertinggal. Adeh.

          5. Cam sebab di atas... kalo nak gi majlis hari raya mesti nak melawa kan... tapi malam ni takde mood nak melawa. Sape nak tengok pon... dah aku pon tak suka orang perhatikan aku. Bazir je... Orang yang aku suka pon tak tentu datang... tapi dia suka makan, dia mesti datang kot.

          7. A TIME ALONE!! Bukan selalu dapat peluang ni. Bole la aku tengok anime y tanpa rasa segan-silu XD.

          8. Tadi nak tido... tapi tak dapat tido sebab khusyuk dengar adik2 juniorku bergosip dengan semangatnye time aku tengah baring. Bising satu. kedua lak... best dgr citer hot. ketiga... dengar pendapat diorang tentang benda serious (yg aku pandang remeh lol). Aih... exactly why aku lebih suka dok sorang2.

..........tu je kot aku nak cakap.

          10 things that annoy me

          1. Excessive use of bad English

Unless it's intentional or an accident.

Well, I don't mind seeing a little. But the most obvious mistakes are spreading like epidemic disease such as "Dateline" (supposedly 'Deadline'), "Your" (When it's supposed to be "you're"), and a bunch of confusions between singular and plural terms and tenses. Tell you what, when you're unsure of your grammar, you can always check in Microsoft Word. If you're too sure that your grammar is correct (although it isn't), then... *shrugs*. Also, the spelling. Word can help you with that too.

Oh yea, if you don't have a dictionary, or too busy going online to flip through it, you can always go to Dictionary.com. It provides thesaurus and several other facilities too!! Use it wisely.

So... you guys kind of... wasted paying your English teacher for nothing. Don't you feel guilty?

          2. Worshipping "Love"

I may offend some of my friends about this. I do have personal grudge against this 'love' thing, but it's not just because of my ex, but also a collection of my own observation.

okay, I don't mind if you keep your relationship in moderation, especially when you're still unmarried to your significant other. But geez... just watching or listening someone talking about his/her lover like he/she's your god makes me think negatively. It goes like this "yeah, you may say it now. But in 10 years you'll forget about those sweet talks" - be it a happy marriage or not. But the infatuation will dampen as time passes. Right now you may know each other like the back of your hand, but after marriage, you seem not to know each other anymore. It's reality.

They tend to forget who's the one(s) who are always there for them.

I'm not saying this because I like it, I say it based on my observation.

If you dislike the way I think... Please prove me wrong.... convincingly =)

          3. People Fanboy/girl-ing in front me of something outside my fandom

It's biased, I know. Maybe I've already done the same thing but I mostly try to avoid it. I mean, how would I understand how they feel about a certain topic which has nothing to do with me or my interest? Or trying to seduce me into the fandom? Well, the more you barrage me even if my favourite genre is there, the more I want to avoid it. In order to get me into watching/playing/reading something, it takes time and less persuasion. I'm pretty much difficult to convince.

I don't want to offend anyone to shut up, but if I'm not heartless enough I'll shut myself up.

Or.... Please leave me out of the conversation kthxbai.

          4. Listening to pointless/meaningless lyrics.

And someone asked me why I listen to songs we don't understand (Jrock, Jpop). I replied, "if you read the translation, you see how beautiful it is."

Compared to those sappy Malay songs which reuse the same theme over and over again, even if you understand it, you don't really indulge in what it means. You sing the words but dunno what the hell it means.

And not to forget international songs that worships women's body and all.

          5. Popular songs goes overrated.

Once its popular, then EVERYONE likes it. There was one time I was blog lurking, I went to 3 consecutive blogs with Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" decorating the audio. I seriously thought I was haunted! I mean, why is this song going everywhere I go?

It kind of makes me think that everyone is the same person because everyone likes the same song.

So yea, whatever's hot on the radio will be your favourite songs. You'll listen to it everyday, you sing it without even bothering about the message (if it's rapping about a chic's butt, then you rap about your fellow gender's butt - if you're a girl la).

Not just from the radio... but whatever is played on your fave TV show, or whatever you fave character is listening to... you're not sincerely liking the artistes music, are you? But for your fandom's sake. Like hell you care what the song means or how it personally relates to you either.

          6. Sleeping too much.

I notice that everyone likes to write "sleep" as their hobbies. Sleep isn't a hobby, dimwits. It's a bad habit. Well, perhaps that's just my opinion while yours is different, you may consider sleep as a favourite past time activities (while Darkside LOLs at you). Playing video games like couch potato is more hobby-ful than just sleep.

I hate sleeping. I wish I can stay awake 24/7 so that I can do whatever I'm supposed to do and whatever i'm not supposed to do. Sleep is a waste of time. But I'm mere human, sleep is a need to recharge energy for the necxt day. I hate sleeping because when I want to sleep at a certain time, it'd take me minutes to hours to actually fall asleep. And I hate sleeping because when I sleep, it's hard for me to get up, I'll go back to sleep and end up oversleeping.

          7. Requests to Draw Portraits

Listen up, y'all. No matter how much I love drawing, I simply DO NOT draw portraits.
For me, it's pointless to draw them. I'd consider that if I was born in the old ages. But in this era, we have this thing called CAMERA which automatically copy your exact look on paper. And now by photoshopping pictures you can make it look like a pencil drawing.

So therefore, portraits are pointless in this age. And I don't have the skill to draw portraits or something real life either. I prefer to draw what I imagine. Yes, that's a weakness. It's just my thinking that drawing portrait isn't challenging my creativity.

          8. People asking me what am I doing.

Call me weird but I dislike being asked "what are you doing?" be it in real life or via YM. I really don't know why. Even if it's just wee innocent question, I take it as a threat. A threat that's about to invade my privacy. Like, when I wanna do things I don't want people to know. Which makes me wish that I am invisible. And I wish they could just ignore me.

          9. Crowds and Their Attitudes

Crowds annoy the hell out of me. They take up all the oxygen I need. Hwahaha. No, seeing too many people clustered in one place makes me suffocate. Other than that, they walk in random translations, and sometimes not even watching where they're going and carelessly bump on other people. Sometimes I wished the paths in shopping complex are as organized as the road.

          10. Inability to Read the Clock

Seriously, it is a bad habit to come late to meetings or classes. However, Malaysians seem to think it's an awesome thing to make a grand entrance. Not only youths do this, even the high ranking geezers have no sense of punctuality. In foreign countries, this behaviour is unacceptable. Then stop dreaming to study overseas, okay? You'll make a shame of yourself.

When an event starts at 10, please arrive be there by 10. The later you are, the less respect you get. If I were a Dato' one day, I would arrive at least an hour early. In fact, even right now I'm often way too early to class. When I'm late, I'd rather not come, because for me it is shameful to be late. but in certain classes, I purposely come in late especially if it's a boring class.

Once I was only 15 minutes late - I got a 'nice' lecture from my dad. And when he says he'll arrive in 10 minutes, then 10 minutes it is. He expects me to be ready already. Recently my sister attended a relative's engagement ceremony - the groom was late. then she concluded, if (in the future) her fiancee is more than 10 minutes late for the ceremony, she'd definitely dump him.

anyways, my point is... lateness makes me angry. You'll get a fuckin' great sarcasm from me.

          ------------

I've offended quite a number of people, haven't I? Forgive my harshness, but this is just my opinion. Ignore it if you dislike my twisted mind.

          A tsundere's kad raya giveaway

This is like the continuation from my Anti-hero post.

Right, so after a series of scarring people's hearts, apparently I won over Darkside. So I guess as much as I try to be heartless, I fail. D:

Vixcenn has been nagging me to apologize, at the same time Faux was too ego to let me act. Meaning that I don't have the guts to say sorry in front of people, with a seriously sentimental face.

So I wasted my gil on a bunch of Kad Raya. I haven't distributed these cards since I graduated from high school. But I guess I needed to apologize to people involved somehow, and the cards are my only medium. Especially for Aidilfitri, where Maaf Zahir Batin is pretty much the overrated theme (not that it's wrong though XD). So I took the oppurtunity to write out my feelings on paper.

I spent one hour of lecture writing a few paragraphs. Ignoring the lecturer. Lucky the hall was too big and it looked like I was writing notes. Heh.
It was a last minute work. I spent all night completing my wretched lab reports.
Just for your info, the contents of the messages are general and standard. not much difference from one another but I used different sentences and add a few thoughts regarding the person. I admit about my straightforwardness. How I hurt people even if there's something good behind me cruelest honesty. The most importnat thing is that I say "I don't expect you to forgive me, but I forgive you. Even if you've pissed me off before, I'd never hate you".
However, I distributed them almost at the end of the day telling them to read when they get back home.
          Friend: Can I read now?
          Me: No you can't!!!!
          Friend: why not??
          Me: It's embarrassing!
Yikes, there's no way I wanna see their response after reading it... in front of me or so. I'd like them to read after all the goodbyes before the holiday starts, so that I don't need to face them or pretend that I didn't do anything nice *blushes*. This evening was the best time to do so. Yea well, they see me as the antagonist what...
Too bad I didn't get to write to everyone I know. Time is an enemy.
Selamat Hari Raya to my Muslim brothers and sisters. May God bless you :3
